School hols -day 3

With four little misses to entertain today, I decided the best course of action would be to load an esky of provisions into the boot and take off for the day.

And then I remembered I was actually supposed to be the 'responsible adult' in charge..........

Today we conquered the big rocking horse at Gumeracha. It's on the Australian list of Big Things (usually plonked in the middle of nowhere any reasonably sane person would go btw). It boasts a wildlife park(neither green on account of the goats they let in, nor wild on account of the people they let in bearing bags of prepurchased grub at the gift shop.

Beside the greedy goats, there is a bitey alpaca (which is perfectly ok on account of the handwritten sign stuck on the entry gate...) a beautifully mannered emu & mini pony thing (ok, it's a Shetland, but it's still a mini pony thing), a very soft and chilled out grey kangaroo and a cockatoo that says hello cockie back and then says no when you tell it to shuddup :)

We did Melba's chocolate factory on the way home (they have NO sample stock left now...)

The esky box is still half full for tomorrow :)........
