The Guinea Pig at Work

Hero came to work with me today and one of our first jobs was to clean the cage of our pet Guinea Pig.

The Guinea Pig originally belonged to one of the residents. He had it with him, when he moved in, but he is not very interested in it, so now it lives in the common TV room and all the residents gives it cuddles and attention.

Hero and the Guinea Pig kept each other entertained whilst I cleaned the cage - but I think the Guinea Pig thought Hero was a bit pushy and indiscreet! After all she is a lady pig!

Hero is only a puppy - 8 mth old - and we have Guinea Pigs at home too, so he has been used to them since he was a baby. He likes watching them and sniffing them, but he would never harm them.
