Light Bulb?

The Alpine House was looking lovely today, great opportunity to take lots of shots of tiny flowers. I was very surprised to find this one, perhaps not the prettiest but certainly unusual.
The single leaf was about 25cm high and the 'bulb' was very smooth with fine hairs sticking up between it and the leaf. Will have to go back sometime to find out its name.
