If you go down to the woods today

I spent a wonderful day in Reffley Wood today. I had only intended to spend a few hours there, but I became so engrossed with the wildlife that I ended up spending 6 hours there! Oh well, I can do all my chores tomorrow morning, lol.

Some of the trees are very ancient and there is one in paricular that is so full of character, I have named it Treebeard. I'm sure it must move around to look after the wood when no one is about! I don't have a photo that does it justice yet, but will try and get one soon.

I had many photo's to choose from, but felt this was the best one that represented my day.
