Darkened Stairway

Woke up with a migraine. Ugh. Spent a few hours doing homework, then another show by Five Foot Forward. During the show I managed to win a tshirt and see one of the guitarists drop his pants (don't worry, he had his shorts on). Watched the Oscars and I love that 'There Will Be Blood' won Best Cinematography and Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis. Yes! The band on after FFF was called 'Amish Electric Chair'. They announced that one of their songs didn't have words and that because of this the lead singer would sing lyrics about chocolate milk. He did. It made me giggle.

"Me what?"
"You...you..." She sighed. It wasn't worth it. "I'm out of here." She pulled her hood back up over her hair and shoved her hands deep in her pants pockets. Two steps later, she heard a soft voice behind her.
"I just don't want you to get hurt."
Without turning around, she managed a "too late" before they were out of earshot.
