I came across this walking close to my house where I have never been before, not in my whole life. I learnt that Walsall Wood has a sewerage works, and found some old slag heaps, the route on the old railway that would have taken the slag there and a pool formed from something that would have been to do with the old coal mine. It was a good walk.
