All good things...

...must come to an end.

Today was the beginning of the end of Peckham's Newton Mearns. The place looked derelict when I arrived for work this morning. Quite sad, actually. It has, after all, been my home away from home for the past 7 months.

We spent the day packing away stock and utensils and shipping them off to other branches. I pity the people who have to unpack these boxes. There must have been hundreds there...and we've still not finished!

There was still a good mood about the place, however. Blasting AC/DC and Aerosmith through the speakers and laughing as customers tried to force their way into the shop after reading the "ceased-to-trade" notice on the door! Brilliant. Only in the Mearns.
