Water snail?--NOT!

It's the time of year when I start to prowl by torch-light. A dual purpose job.
1. Frog watching.
2. Mollusc mashing.

Tonight the score was Frogs - 2: Molluscs - 1 (Home win for the frogs.)

The mollusc, stoopid crittur, I hadn't the heart to mash. It had decided for whatever reason, that it needed to be on the other side. At this time the fall is, generally, not falling so it may well be that it had done it so many times that the route was hard-wired in.
