Keepin' It Cooshtie
I was in Bristol three days late for Sunday's Blipmeet. I went up with family today to do some shopping and city stuff. The womenfolk spent an hour or so in the independent shops in Park Street but the menfolk gave it 10 minutes then headed for the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Before we left I noticed this passageway in one of the shops. Takes me back to '68.
I intended today's blip to be of the Burne-Jones St George and the Dragon painting in the Art Gallery, but I couldn't avoid getting reflections off the glass, including in one shot my own face clearly visible! There's some great stuff in the museum and I've put a few pictures on my flicker photostream if you want to have a look (Banksy, Ming dynasty, Burne-Jones): here's the link. The one with my face in it is there for a laugh.
By the way, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year is at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery at the moment and has some incredible pictures - including my favourite of a snub-nosed monkey taken by a 9-year old
