Same waters, differend kind

So yesterday, a big swan past by. (Thanks for the kind comments everyone!)

But this bird has been around for a few weeks now. My neighbour told me that the male coot and the female coot switch jobs from time to time: one of the couple protects the eggs, the other one searches for food and branches. Yesterday I recorded the coot in action - finishing building her nest. It looked so cute! Haha
Though I'm not sure whether it was the male- or female coot... Very confusing.
