Memories of El Chalten

Today was my last day on the trails.

I took off again on an 8 hour trek, retracing some of my steps from two days prior. The view of Mt Fitz Roy was amazing from my room that morning, and the promise of some sunshine and a pleasant day had me out, the quest to get to the Laguna de los Tres.

It was a long hard walk up but I got there and it was amazing. Could not post that picture because it is a big panorama, and the water was the most vivid blue. It was so cold there I thought that my fingers would snap off with cold taking a few selected shots.

The image I have posted today has trails, mountains, wonderful clouds and Autumn colours. Everything that sums up my time here in El Chalten.
