Goodbye, my friend, get well soon

Over the weekend my 1Ds essentially died. It told me I needed to upgrade firmware that was already up-to-date and it wasn't going to work until I did. When I did, it wouldn't capture images. So, it's off to the shop for a determination of repairs. Right in the middle of my tissue paper flower series. Now, I'll start getting calls for jobs. The nearest rental place is L.A., so that will have to be taken into account in both timing and fees. Hopefully, it's nothing too spendy to fix. If so, I'll be looking at a big hit for replacement.

So, a parting shot as a 4-year-old gets shipped off to the hospital.
