Step we lively ...

These two gulls were so beautifully in step that I imagined them humming, "Step we lively, on we go, heel for heel and toe for toe..." They, and we, and hundreds of others, were taking a walk along the embankment in Dartmouth, in this glorious mini-heatwave we're enjoying. All the delights of summer, with the flowers of spring, and no flies! What more could we wish for? We even treated ourselves to ice-creams.

It was good to see Dartmouth swarming with happy holiday-makers - just what our economy needs after several wet summers. And the local beaches were pretty busy, too. Should be a lovely Easter weekend coming up.
