Alabaster Cat

Mum and Dad went on holiday to Egypt recently. They came close to canceling when tourists were being attacked by sharks (swimming in the sea is key to any successful holiday for M+D). They came even closer to canceling when the Egyptians decided to have a revolution. But held out to see what would happen and Saga (aka Send A Granny Abroad) said it was safe, so in the end were among the first post-revolution groups of tourists to arrive. It sounds as though it was very very quiet at the tourist spots and the locals were understandably very keen to get their businesses going again.

I suspect M+D bought more souvenirs than they would have done otherwise. I love my alabaster cat!
