Ready and waiting...

...for the birds and the bees to do their bit. I chose this pic as I liked the way that the stamen and stigma are neatly arranged inside the bud as it opens. It's also a bit different to an open flower, although this clematis is beautiful in flower.

Today flew by, only 4 days left now before the kids go back to school, it's going too fast :-(

Caught up on some phone calls today and then we played badminton before I took my youngest for a sleepover and my eldest to do his paper round. It doesn't sound like I did much today but I did, as I say the day went really quickly. Another beautiful day with a few more clouds so I don't know how much longer it'll last for. It really does feel like summer it's so warm.
