My Indoor Herb Garden

This was the first year I used this little indoor greenhouse to grow herbs over the winter. I am very fortunate to have this room in our house with large south-facing windows. It is so wonderful to have a few herbs on hand ready to pluck as I am cooking. Some of our favorites uses of the herbs have been fresh basil on homemade pizza, oregano in Greek vinaigrette, cilantro in hummus, and the rosemary in focaccia bread. A few of the plants are starting to look a little shabby. Hopefully they will stay strong until the weather warms up and I can move them outdoors.
