Signs of spring

Can't you just feel the Spring breeze wafting through this maple tree. This is such a treat after all the gloom and cold. The bright blue sky and warm sun is such a treat. Love how the leaves catch and hold the shadows and outlines of others nearby, almost translucent in their newness. The red stalks, a sharp contrast to the soft green. This maple is part of a grove we have on our Island property. And this is my favourite time of year to wander here.
