A different city
I passed through Auckland city on my way to Mum and Dad's today. A pleasant time was spent with my sister and brother-in-law in their hotel lobby, complete with a 10 question grilling from big sister on The Hunter ;-) Mum and Dad joined us for a while before we said goodbye to Jennie and Nick.
Auckland is my city of birth and everything north of here is my old stamping ground. It's good to be here. I prefer the volcanic cones and Waitamata and Manukau Harbours of Auckland over the Sky City tower. But it is iconic and at the end of a long day in fading light, the only chance of a blip.
(A quick back blip before I head away for a few days).
