Dog in a bowl

Yep, it sure had to be a dog picture today. We are all really tired as my wee pup had difficulty getting comfortable last night. He also looks a little sore where he had the snip. He came out of the vets yesterday not wearing the collar but unfortunately it wasn't long before he was licking his stitches. Today he was caught reaching the stitches whilst wearing this?

Hubby and I are taking it in turns to go out today to keep an eye on him / try and take his mind off of being stuck in a bowl! I certainly wont be getting sun burnt this Easter.

He is being really clingy and keeps wanting a cuddle. I feel horrible as we are having to be cruel to be kind. He's had such a good life these past 11 months he probably wonders what he's done wrong. At least he is sporting a smart new puppy cut which should ensure he keeps cooler whilst stuck indoors, during this amazing yet absurd heatwave. If you saw his previous picture you'll have noticed he had a lovely wavy / slightly curly coat - he looked real cute, but it'll grow back for the winter - let's not think about that just yet and look forward to brunch with our lovely hot cross buns - they've got to be TOASTED!
