well i noticed in my every macro blip i've been asked what lens i use, most of you know but i thought i say it again here. i attach a 50mm lens reverse on my camera. it's very harder to use than a macro lens. focusing is difficult, the only way to focus is by being in a specific distance from the subject. it took me a while but once you're used to it, you'll not think of another lens for macros.

for lighting i use the built-in flash and a recyclable plastic dish in front of it as the diffuser. and the plastic dish has become one of my essential gear lately!
