Gannet

Glorious day again here so decided to head to the coast and blip a Gannet in flight. Gannets are my favourite bird and I have not got a photo of one in flight, with the weather being so good, today is the day!! Bucket and spade in hand...ready for the beach and plenty of factor 50...sunglasses and flipflops off we headed. Disaster struck 1 mile away from the coast...SEA FRET. It was 10 degrees on the reserve and my knees were knocking. So after 3 hours of hanging about and no sand castle building we abandoned all hope and left. One mile away 21 degrees but no Gannet.
