Injured

Another sunny day. Could get used to this.

This poor bird was spotted in our garden a few days ago. It has an injured wing. We had been watching it but it disappeared so we thought it must have been able to fly. However, it appeared again today. Our neighbour was trying to catch it and had phoned the RSPB. It looked healthy enough so hopefully it will get the help it needs and recover.

Needless to say I did not help to capture it. I stayed a good distance from it. Thank goodness for zoom lenses!
