Good Friday

It was, on many levels.

j9 wanted to visit Smithills hall today, an old manor house dating back over 800 years. Glad she did, it was beautiful exploring the house, almost on our own, then crashing in the grounds with a cuppa and a smoke.

update: the day gets better, j9 is in an exhibition at New Mills, Derybshire with a large Raku piece of hers. It has sold on the opening night! :-)
