Tulips on Parade

For the first day of the holiday weekend we had a day out Harrogate. We spent most of the time in Valley Gardens. Picnic + football + playground + crazy golf + ice lollies + bouncy castle + temperatures over twenty degrees = tired children.

Harrogate is justifiably world famous for its floral displays, and the gardens were in full bloom. This time of year has the added colour of magnolia and cherry blossom.

We were too busy playing to do much photography, but I grabbed a few shots on the way out, of which this is the standout.
