Sparrow

Sitting at breakfast this morning I noticed the sparrows on the pampas grass. They seemed to be gathering material from the pampus for their nests.

Dashed through to the living room , got the camera which was already set on macro, climbed on to a chair by the window, opened the top window so I could shoot through clear air rather than glass. Fired off some shots and this is the result. I know it's not perfect , a bit noisy but it's the first of that kind of shot for me. Only wish the pampas was closer to the house as I had to crop this a bit.

Anyway , although it's not the best of it's kind I was reasonably pleased with my first attempt and will keep trying.
