Singing Bowl

A dear family friend recently returned from a month-long research stint in India and Tibet.

The doorbell rang shortly after noon today and we received a large box filled with many little thoughtful presents for Easter.

I love the brass singing bowl (with its little mallet of polished wood) that I received; here it rests against a richly-hued throw made of yak wool, which is the hubby's present.
