Step two...........

.of the dandelion jelly/marmalade ( see yesterdays blip!).
Having picked a good number of dandelion heads I spent what seemed like hours cutting off the yellow petals, taking care not to include any bits of stalk.
Half of these have been simmered with a cooking apple and a mixture of citrus fruits - this concoction is now slowly dripping through a jelly bag overnight!
