Bus trip

This morning I had to be on a bus at 7am for the journey from El Calafate to the Torres del Paine National Park.

The journey covers an area of desert road, the old Route 40, and we stopped to let air out of the tyres on the bus, before we proceeded. The sun rises quite late here, and I couldn't help but grab this shot from the bus window. There was desert with glimpses of mountains in the background, and those delightful clouds.

It was a shame to arrive in the part to rain and thick clouds, but later in the day they cleared. Here's hoping for some reasonably clear skies as I have 3 days here.
