A miracle regarding the weather, please!

Though there will no doubt be miracles of the biblical variety tomorrow, there are certainly no miracles happening in Edinburgh today, at least not of the weather kind. It has been wet and cold all morning, which is particularly annoying, especially when you have the lovely Matt Taylor (BBC weather boy!) telling us about the continuation of the heatwave in England!

Anyway where does on go on such a day? A museum or gallery is the answer. So I headed to the Modern Art Gallery in Belford Road and guess what? ended up taking an outdoor photo instead of a nice exhibit in the warm (copyright issues there, I think).

Had a great time there, and at the Dean Gallery opposite and there are a couole of fantastic free exhibitions on: Jeff Koons (Modern Art Gallery) and August Sander (The Dean Gallery).

The August Sander one was particularly good, as it gave a real photographical insight of the people of Germany between 1900 - 1950. Give it a go if you can, and it gives us blippers some ideas about taking portraits!
