Berberis

I like this title - it makes me sound ever so knowledgable about plants when actually I know practically nothing.

We inherited this fine berberis with the house and so far we've managed not to kill it. My grandparents were all very green-fingered and my folks don't do so badly either. However, that specific gene now seems to have skipped a generation. I did manage not to kill a spider plant once (although not through lack of trying!).

I'm actually amazed this has come out so well. The sky behind may be very blue but it was seriously windy out there. Quite dangerous to snap this actually - strong winds and prickly branches are not a good combination!

I don't know about anyone else but I am so very tired of this wind. It makes everything so difficult (and outdoor blipping very un-enticing). I think it is my least favourite weather of all.
