How Can You Lie There & Think of England

When You Don't Even Know Who's In The Team??

King Henry V, scene I:

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Here's a St George's Day (slice of) toast to Will Shakespeare*, my old fella who would have been 80 today if he wuznaedeid and my lovely dog George (obviously!!) who would still be my dog if he wuznaedeid.

Edible blip? Can't be beaten. I had a back up in case this one didn't work and I ate that too.

* Shakespeare walks into a pub. Landlord shouts 'Get out, you're bard'.

Shirley, The Bard of Barking himself, Billy Bragg.
