night light is the right light. stopped by one of the big buddhist temples near my place today, hoping to find some lanterns lit in anticipation of buddha's birthday which is coming up in early may. got a lot of interesting shots, but what really stood out for me was the detail in this temple gate illuminated by the golden light of hundreds of lanterns. i've taken hundreds if not thousands of shots of temple and palace detail in korea, but never in such fine light. i don't think i have the shot that i really want yet, but this is a start.
