Alium

This little feller is just coming out. He's been breaking through the membrane of his green cover for a while, and is just starting to venture out more. When he's fully 'exploded' he'll form a lovely purple sphere of these tiny star like flowers. Really very eyecatching.

Meanwhile, sore back from digging the front garden. It is now nearly a blank canvas which is very exciting.
