Damp and dismal morning with low cloud so headed for Braemar where the forecast was a little better. When we arrived it was sun and cloud but as we headed up Morrone the cloud won and by the time we were coming down it had started drizzling. As we got lower the sky got lighter but the rain harder and it was just starting to pour as we arrived back at the car.
Some inquisitive ducks arrived hoping for food but all they got was this photo! They were pretty tame so it was possible to get pretty close and I didn't hang around as I didn't want to get soaked.
Not long after we arrived home the sun came out and it was a beautiful evening.
