Summer's on it's way then.....

A truly miserable day when I was in town today. We'd headed in early to meet Heather and Mairi for a visit to the spa and afterwards picked up Maddy who was staying at her grannies house last night.

I had a couple of things to do in town while Roz and Mads headed back. I spent most of my time ducking into places in the hope that the relentless drizzle would give in. It didn't!

I did have a very pleasant coffee and cake in Wellington Coffee though. I'd been meaning to pop in since a friend recommended it a while back and it is possibly the best cup of coffee in Edinburgh. Next time I'll give the cappuccino a miss and try their flat white.

In the house warm and dry now relaxing to Mr Weatherall on Radio 6.
