P,P...Picture Perfect (In the End!)

Harewood House boasts quite a large collection of exotic birds (about 90 species), ranging from flamingos, snowy owls and countless parrots in all manners of colours and patterns... but typically they were all rather camera shy or too far away for a decent picture...

Despite my camera's low battery all day, and the fact we'd missed the feeding show by about an hour, it was an unbelievable joy to capture this amazing scene of the penguins swimming and diving for the remaining fish at the bottom of their aquarium. Such graceful, fun and characteristic animals.
