We had an afternoon trip out with Grandma to Barton Marina.

Its the first time we've been and will definitely be back

After a huge queue we had some very worthwhile ice creams. Discovered a wonderful toy shop and my bank account may rue the discovery of some yummy looking boutiques.

Came home to home made kofta kebabs, Moroccan chicken kebabs, chickpea dip, pittas and salad - yum (and very easy)! Must crack out the cookbook more often rather than relying on the old favourites.

Then Grandma babysat while we went to the pub, on our own, while she and the boys watched The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
