Informal portrait

Lovely Easter Sunday spent with in laws. Fantastic roast Sunday lunch followed by sitting in the garden in the sunshine. My two nieces E and M were there looking wonderfully summery in their new summer dresses.

Like most children they are difficult to photograph because either they strike a pose or they don't stay still, or their faces have gone completely blank and lifeless because they are watching TV.

I liked this image of E because it seemed to me to convey a depth of thought, a sense of planning.
