Rainy Sunday

Huge thunder and lightning storm all afternoon in Rio. We appreciated not having to be out and about in it and had an afternoon in, catching up on calls to family on Skype after lunch of roast chicken (bought all cooked and ready to eat) and salad. Just had a walk along the deserted Copa front and this is a shot of one of the few remaining traditional beach bars. Most of them have been replaced with smart new modern ones in preparation for the Olympic Games and World Cup to be hosted here. So different from the hustle and bustle and lively atmosphere of last night! We're about to have some pastries in the place I blipped yesterday and I'll blip from here. Happy Easter!
