A Day of Remembrance

Today is Anzac Day - Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. A day to commemorate all those who died and served in Miltary operations for their countries. A red poppy is a symbol of this Day of Remembrance.

A cold day with steady fine rain as people of all ages came together for Dawn parades, services and wreath laying in every town and city, no matter how big or small. This is my Grandfathers youngest brother who like so many others went to war and didn't return.

A quiet day in our house, a little bit of photo editing and just keeping warm. Will be picking Daughter E up from work shortly and then thinking about something warm for tea.

The Easter holiday break is nearly over - have a great week :)
