The elusive mountains

It was Easter Sunday today. I was stuck in a hotel overflowing with guests and children, riding their bicycles down the hallways, and yelling and screaming until all hours of the night. An expensive hotel. One that offered peace, serenity and an idyllic location..... well not at Easter. I knew that I needed to get out of the hotel after two days of rain so I set off with guide on a 5 hour walk, experiencing driving gusty winds, rain, hail, snow, sunshine, you name it we got it. And then at the end, this panoramic view with the mountains showing themselves to me for the first time in days. On my return to the hotel the children had all left and the guest count was down from over 200 to maybe 30! How things can change in an instant! Happy Easter 2011.
