Happy Easter!

Today was an amazing way to spend Easter Sunday! I had a nice Easter breakfast with Mikey and Laura, and then we went on a sailing trip along the west coast of the island with some of my classmates. Food and drinks were included along with endless snorkeling and swimming. The snorkeling was amazing and I had a great time saying hello to all the cute little fish.

It was raining at first, but then let up as soon as we reached Flamingo Bay. The bay was my favorite spot on the trip, but eventually we had to leave and moved on to the underwater sculpture park. We all got into the water to follow the guide when we all realized that the water was very uncomfortable. We were surrounded by tiny jellyfish that made it feel like you had razor burn all over your body. They weren't too bad at first and really were adorable little things, but after a while, I was realizing that I was covered in little welts. So I swam back to the boat as quickly as possible and nursed my wounds, lol. I then had an interesting chat with my friend's parents, who tagged along for the trip while visiting Grenada on vacation. I can't wait until my family comes to visit!

After the trip, we all went to the beach bar Umbrellas for lunch. It was a really fun time. Though this was my first Easter away from home, I'm really glad I was able to spend it with great friends.
