Anthocharis cardamines or Orange Tip Butterfly

Today's outing was to the Wildlife Trust site Watts Wood which is particularly good for butterflies and dragon flies. It is a little early for many species but I was lucky enough to capture a few different types including this orange tip. The particular species is very fluttery more so than other species so I was lucky to bag this one and many of them don't settle at all.

Another chilled out day but will shortly need to cut the grass and look to see if my bike is in a condition to start riding it to work.
