Salcey Forest
After a slow Easter Sunday morning we went for a walk around Salcey Forest near Northampton.
I hadn't realised in all of the 15 years that R has lived in this area, he has never known about and therefore never been to Salcey Forest. We went up on the tree top walk and then did a walk around the forest totaling about 4.5 miles and finished it off with an ice-cream before we left.
I was reacquainted with human faith and kindness, as we drove in to the car park someone coming out gave us their ticket, which was very nice of them. How many times does that happen now a days?!
So who ever you were... Thank you!
We had a lovely, lovely afternoon... once back home a lovely lamb roast meal!
The only down side was my right foot is playing up, the joint between the metatarsal and the phalanges on the little toe is the issue and the area is very sore and swollen... Dr's for me on Tuesday :-( Just hope I can get away from work in time.
