Helsinki

A day trip to Helsinki... some amazing photos of inside and outside the churches.

Yet another great city, remarkably clean and good looking... but 20 euros for a beer and a wine did sting slightly and bring reality crashing home. Although lovely you paid for that luxury.

Makes me wonder why other cities can't be as clean and well looked after, thinking more Uk cities really.

This is one of 2 massive cathedrals the name escapes me right now, yet again, but it's a Lutheran cathedral. One photo can't do a city justice and the refreshment establishment called Cafe Fanny nearly made it on but it didn't seem like a fair reflection of the memories I have of Helsinki.

Got a rug for the flat we don't have yet, but very excited about when we do.
