Ben flew the nest, mv and Joey flew too. We went to Betty Boop'sin Southport for lunch, a favourite of ours for such times. Comfort in toasted sandwiches and pie.

a huge sadness fell as we further investigated the damage caused by the winter mice. Daddy's John Masefields have been ravaged. Dust covers made into horrid little nests. A bit too much really.
