Crab apple blossom

I only took 3 pics today, all the same subject, as it wasn't a holiday here and work was very busy.
This small tree is in our front garden and is covered in blossom this year. It was pruned heavily in the autumn which it must have approved of.
It has purplish (is that a word?) green leaves which showed up well in another pic I took but the flowers were sharper in this one. You can get an idea of the colour in the smaller leaves at the back.
