a brushload of white on blue,
sandstone rubbed red

a little too slow,
too clumsy with camera;
the airplane hidden

A couple backblips...

In Valley of Fire I was flattened by juxtaposed technologies: petroglyphs pulled from the red sandstone; contrail limning the sky; and light waves captured electronically in my camera.

Water frozen above marking sky above dry land rubbed stone against stone. And me, a little to slow to catch the shot.
