Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles

This beautiful Basilica, unique in design, stands proudly in the city of Cartago, Costa Rica's former capital city.

Pilgrims from all over the country are drawn here - many crawling on their hands and feet for a distance of 22kms(!)


I couldn't decide which of the internal photos I took to post today - but hopefully this will give just a taste of how it looks.
