Another baseball practice in the rain....
I finally remembered to bring my camera to one of our many weekly baseball practices tonight. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived the wind picked up and shortly after so did the hail and rain. Sort of hard to believe that driving to practice I had my sunroof open and was wearing my sunglasses?
It became so wet and cold during practice. Most of us parents huddled closely in a covered stairway well away from the baseball field while the boys all practiced in the rain, frozen hands and soaked practice clothes and all. Those poor boys. At some point the weather has to turn to make this season a little more enjoyable. Because of the rain I wasn't able to take too many photo's but did manage to get this one capturing Jack, my oldest son running to catch a ball. He's not loving baseball this season and I think part is due to the weather conditions they've been having to practice in. I'm hoping once things shape up that he will enjoy it more. Fortunately he does have a good friend from school on his team and is forming a close friendship with another teammate.
Carter has practice tuesday evening so hopefully the weather cooperates for the kids practicing and for me to take pictures.
